Support of Deployed Soldiers and Suicide Awareness
Yellow ribbon is traditionally used to represent support of deployed soldiers and suicide awareness and prevention. To support deployed soldiers or promote suicide awareness, design a personalized awareness ribbon with a statement such as “Support Our Troops” or “Suicide Prevention.” Visit our How-To Articles for detailed instructions on fashioning awareness ribbons into lapel ribbons. Lapel ribbons require 7" to 7 ½" of ribbon each, depending on whether the ends are cut straight across or at an angle. With 100 yards per roll, one roll of awareness ribbon will be enough for 480-500 lapel ribbons.
